Join us on the mat for this Active Relaxation class. You will move your body/mind into balance by supporting the body in asanas using props & gravity to allow the body to unwind. Each pose creates specific physiological responses that are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of stress related diseases.

| Kundalini Yoga uses ancient energy management systems which are drawn from a large body of teachings. These teachings were brought to the US in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan Ji. Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Transformation. It uses pranayama breathe technique, traditional yogic poses, repeptitive dynamic movement, mudra,relaxation, meditation, and mantra to allow each person to go thru life with the flow rather than against it. |

Iron Yoga is a Yoga workout fusing strength training and Yoga. It will rev up your metabolism and stimulate lean muscle mass for maximum fat-burning results. Iron Yoga is a safe yet challenging low-impact workout. It is perfect for novice yoga students as well as those who want to take it to the next level.
What you will need: 1 to 3lb hand held weights and a willingness to try something new!

| Chair Yoga 6 week series - 1 hr. class for baby boomers & the elderly who can no longer get on the mat. Includes a combination of seated & standing poses. Lots of stretching, strengthening, lubricating the joints, breath work & relaxation.

Please arrive prior to the start time of class for your benefit and others around you. Late arrivals will not be granted entry once doors are closed.
In case of inclimate weather - morning classes will be postponed if High Point and or Vernon Schools are delayed or closed. Also, you may call the center at 973.875.5433 with in a half hour of the start of class for updates. Or join us on Facebook to receive updates and specials.
